Summer with Yeasayer
Posted by adspeert | Filed under Uncategorized
Another quick TV-inspired post today as Entourage closed last night’s episode with a track by Yeasayer, who have been one of the more interesting listens of my summer. This reminded me that Pitchfork.com had posted one of their Pitchfork Festival performances, and so I just went back to check it out. Aside from the fact that lead-man Chris Keating looks like Emilio Estevez from Men At Work, it was definitely one of the most dynamic performances of the festival. So check it out below, and below that is the song featured in the show.
Yeasayer - Wait for the Summer (Live at Pitchfork Festival ‘09)
Can’t you feel the Knife?

Grizzly Bear
It’s always tough to plunge back into responsibility after a few days of freedom, but I’m coming back around and wanted to drop something quick.
Ever since this weekend’s Pitchfork Fest, I’ve had this song stuck in my head and so should you…
…and just for the hell of it.
